We would like to inform you that this coming weekend – on Friday and Saturday, 27. and June 28, 2025 – the highlight of the PRO 3x3 Tour 2025 driven by Opel, the fourth season of spectacular international 3x3 basketball tournaments, will take place. Namely, the best 3x3 teams from this part of Europe will compete, and the tournament will be organized at a uniquely attractive location – the famous Zlatni rat beach in Bol on the island of Brač! The Brač competition is also the sixth stop of this year's PRO 3x3 Tour, which will be held from May 16 to August 3, 2025 at a total of 10 attractive locations, mostly in city centers, across Croatia. The first five tournaments of this season were organized in Hvar (May 16 and 17), Trogir (May 23 and 24), Umag (May 30 and 31), Donji Miholjac (June 6 and 7) and Vinkovci (June 20 and 21), and the upcoming Bol tournament is special in many ways. Namely, this is the first time that an official international 3x3 tournament will be held on a special 3x3 field set up on Zlatni rat itself, one of the most beautiful and globally popular beaches, and in the summer season. In addition, this tournament in both men's categories – senior Elite Men and junior U-19 – will bring together the most successful teams from the first four PRO 3x3 tournaments of this season, plus several more teams that achieved their placement by winning foreign partner tournaments or received an invitation, the so-called wild card, from the organizer. For example, the top team Liman 3x3 from Serbia, currently ranked 6th in the world and who won the extremely strong FIBA 3x3 Masters tournament in Mongolia last weekend, is coming to Zlatni rat. The Bol tournament will feature excellent 3x3 teams from six European countries – Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia. The stakes are high because this tournament has the prestigious status of FIBA Quest and the winner in the senior Elite Men category will advance to the strong FIBA 3x3 World Tour Masters, which will be held in 19. and July 20, 2025 to be held in Hong Kong. Since the organizers of the PRO 3x3 Tour are continuously working on the development of women's 3x3 basketball, a competition in the Open Women category will also be organized at the Golden War, based on team entries. In addition, in the revue part of both evenings, the audience will be delighted by members of the Slovenian acrobatic group Dunking Devils, which has over 2,000 performances in more than 55 countries around the world. The arrival of several well-known people is also expected, and for now, Bruno Šundov, a former NBA player and Croatian national team member, has confirmed his arrival at the tournament.
On the first day of the tournament at Zlatni Rat (Friday, June 27), in the afternoon and evening hours, from 4:30 PM to approximately midnight (with short breaks between matches for entertainment and prize games), group competitions will be organized for teams in the senior men's Elite Men category, and the best will advance to the finals, which will be played later in the evening, on Saturday, June 28. The program for the second day of the tournament (Saturday, June 28) starts at around 9:00 AM and lasts all day, until late in the evening. In the morning and early afternoon, trials of younger categories will be played, as well as group matches in the junior U-19 and women's Open Women categories. From 16:00 to 17:00, the already established rich content for children and young people, called Kids Day, is scheduled, as well as education about 3x3 basketball for players, referees, assistant referees, children and spectators. From 18:00 to approximately 23:00, the most interesting part follows – the final matches in all three categories, after which their winners will be announced. In addition, spectators will have the opportunity to participate in interesting prize games, shooting twos and free throws, and win promotional products and gifts from sponsors and donors. Otherwise, the PRO 3x3 Tour is a unique sports-tourism-entertainment-educational event that also has a competitive character. In addition to financial prizes for the best, all registered teams from Croatia and abroad collect points in order to try to secure a place in the grand final as part of this Tour, which will be organized 2. and August 3, 2025 in Novalja on the island of Pag. The final tournament of the PRO 3x3 Tour 2025 driven by Opel has the prestigious status of FIBA Lite Quest for the senior men's Elite Men category, so its winner will 27. and 28 September 2025. travel to the FIBA 3x3 Challenger in Mataro (Spain).
