At 26.06.2010. the renovated gallery of Branislav Dešković was opened. At first stage ground floor is renovated, completed extensive construction and furnishing.

Director of the Center for Culture of Brač, Ms. Jasna Damjanović has introduced a new refurbished part of the assembled to guests, and announced the continuation of work on the renovation of gallery in autumn. She also announced that the Art Collection of Gallery "Branislav Desković" was recently protected monument of Croatia.

Mayor of municipality Bol Tihomir Marinković was warmly welcome all visitors. He emphasized that the municipalities supported this cultural project and are ready to support to further work proceed.

The author of the new permanent exhibition prof. Guido Quien presented his authorial concept which represents the best possible way, this extremely valuable holdings of the gallery.
