West of Bol, Zlatni Rat Beach is one of the largest and most beautiful natural attractions of the Adriatic. Like a tongue, it stretches almost half a kilometre into the deep blue sea. It is formed by the accumulation and deposition of fine pebbles around an underwater reef. The tip of Zlatni Rat changes shape, adapting to the will of the waves and sea currents.

On the eastern side of Bol, on the Glavica Peninsula, the Dominican Monastery rises in solemn tranquillity. Its museum houses a rich archaeological collection, along with various valuable artefacts and paintings. Nearby stand a Baroque summer residence, the Loggia with its small church, a Renaissance-Baroque palace that hosts an art gallery, the parish church, a small square, and the Kaลกtil fortress.
